The Monkees were talented singers, musicians, and songwriters who made a handful of the finest pop rock singles of their day and delivered exciting, entertaining live shows. The group was conceived for the situation comedy series The Monkees, which aired from 1966 to 1968. Following the television show's cancellation in 1968, the Monkees continued to record music until 1971. The Monkees have sold more than 75 million records worldwide making them one of the biggest-selling groups of all time with international hits, including "Last Train to Clarksville", "I'm a Believer", "Pleasant Valley Sunday", and "Daydream Believer". In 2014 the Monkees were inducted into America's Pop Music Hall of Fame.
