Phil Collins' status as one of the most successful pop rock singers of the '80s and beyond was probably as much a surprise to him as it was to many others. Balding and diminutive, the Genesis drummer-turned-vocalist was almost 30 years old when his first solo single, "In the Air Tonight," became a #2 hit in his native U.K. and a Top 20 hit in the U.S. His most successful singles include "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)", "One More Night", "Sussudio", "Take Me Home", "Two Hearts", "A Groovy Kind of Love", "I Wish It Would Rain Down", and "Another Day in Paradise". Phil Collins has won 8 Grammy Awards, 6 Brit Awards, 2 Golden Globe Awards, 1 Academy Award, and a Disney Legend Award. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis in 2010.
