An influential Southern California punk band with hook-filled tunes and a snarky sense of humor, NOFX formed in 1983 around a core lineup consisting of vocalist/bassist Fat Mike, guitarist Eric Melvin, and drummer Erik Sandin. Since debuting in 1988 with Liberal Animation, the band has steered clear of major labels and commercial exposure over their decades-long career, recording an impressive number of albums, including the gold-selling Punk in Drublic (1994) and So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes (1996).
