Nemophila is a Japanese metal band from Tokyo, formed in 2019. They are lead by guitarist SAKI from Mary’s Blood, who recruited former LIPSTICK vocalists mayu, guitarist Hazuki from Disqualia, bassist Haraguchi-san from HöLDERLINS, drummer Muratatamu from SORAMIMI, and is considered a supergroup. Nemophila went viral with a rehearsal room version of the song "Oiran" and have also gained further popularity because of their cover versions of songs by other metal artists. Their style is best described as modern power metal, but they also draw on thrash metal, groove metal, traditional heavy metal, and metalcore.
