James are an English rock band from Manchester, formed in 1982. In the late '80s, James, like many of their British peers, became involved in the acid house-inspired "baggy" scene and recorded the baggy-inspired "Sit Down," which became their breakthrough hit. Live performance has continually remained a central part of the band's output. As of 2010, the band had sold more than 25 million albums worldwide. Living in Extraordinary Times is the 15th studio album by James, released on 3 August 2018.
