Punk rock band Against Me! was formed in 1997 in Naples, Florida, by singer and guitarist Laura Jane Grace. In 2002 they issued the fan favorite Reinventing Axl Rose. The underground hit blended elements of punk, folk, and country into socially conscious and impassioned anthems.
